How do i hardwire an originally battery powered smoke detector? And still maintain a battery backup? - battery powered blender
We have a smoke detector battery. I was hoping for a hard wire AC / DC are not equal to 9V (amperes sure), just disconnect the battery.
I used to only remove the battery, but the hope that some kind of backup battery can leave in case power goes.
Then I put in a 9V battery 9V DC, where messages are now in the right direction?
Thanks for the help and ideas.

This does not apply, like a good idea to look for me, the line drawn (with battery backup) detectors are available and not too expensive.
Most batteries require charging voltage is slightly higher than the voltage of the battery by simply connecting a battery to the DC input, or is the problem of not reaching full charge, or load.
You can try to isolate with a diode to the AC and rechargeable battery (included), but due to the drop voltage across the diode can receive a low battery warning when the power is off, even with good batteries. In addition, a cheap adapter can provide a very clean-CC, smoke detectors and batteries are designed so if no wave voltage and relatively stable.
